Joanne Leifheit practices primarily in the area of estate planning in Waukesha County. Joanne’s expertise in estate planning is broad and encompasses assisting individuals, families, and the elderly with planning and managing personal needs such as: health care directives, the drafting of wills and trusts, powers of attorney for finances, and explanations of Title 19 requirements and applications. Joanne also assists families in need when court guardianships are necessary. Joanne has represented the Waukesha County Office of Corporation Counsel in the area of guardianships since 2003.
Joanne’s clients appreciate her manner of conversing about legal matters in plain English and her genuine desire to help with sound legal advice and representation. Joanne operates in the style of an advisor and teacher in the area of estate planning. She provides her clients with one-on-one advice and close personal attention, which is often the reason she receives referrals from past and current clients.
